Rob Tolleson - Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr.
Tolleson brings experience as both a corporate executive and entrepreneur
to the CPO team. Prior to founding CPO, Mr. Tolleson served as President
and Chief Executive Officer at CLICK Radio, a digital music service
for PCs and related devices. Previously, Mr. Tolleson founded and
served as President & CEO of Fast Forward, Inc., a new media
company engaged in communicating the value of personal technology
goods and services to mainstream consumers.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Tolleson
was employed by Turner Broadcasting System, a division of
Time Warner Inc. From 1998 to 1999, he served as Senior Vice
President, Business Operations and Development, and as Deputy
Chief Operating Officer of the CNN News Group, where he was
involved in overseeing six television networks, two radio
networks, CNN Interactive and other businesses representing
more than $1 billion in annual revenue. While in this
role, Mr. Tolleson was directly responsible for generating
over $300 million in strategic partnerships. From 1993 to
1997, Mr. Tolleson served as Vice President of Business
Development for Turner International where he spearheaded
the development of several international television networks,
with a particular focus on Latin America.
From 1987 to 1991, Mr. Tolleson served as an Investment
Banking Analyst and Associate with Morgan Stanley &
Co.
Mr. Tolleson received a Master in Business Administration
from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science from
Washington and Lee University and sits on the Board of the
National Monuments Foundation.
Brooke Abercrombie - Chief Operating Officer
Ms.
Abercrombie is responsible for managing the company's internal
operations and is a seasoned entrepreneur. Prior to joining the
CPO team she was the co-founder and President of Neurosmith, a high
tech toy company focused on early education. Prior to starting
Neurosmith, she served as Vice President of Product Development at
Davidson & Associates, a pioneer in educational software and the
creator of Math Blaster, the world's best-selling math program
for kids. Ms. Abercrombie started her career at LEK Consulting,
where she advised clients in corporate strategy and mergers &
acquisitions. She received her MBA from Harvard University and her
BA from Harvard College.
Patrick Connor - Chief Marketing & Sales Officer
Patrick Connor has over 20 years of experience as a marketing & sales executive in the consumer package goods and entertainment industries with Fortune 500 companies including Warner Bros., Johnson & Johnson, Pillsbury and Procter & Gamble. He has proven success with start-ups, realignments and sustaining success in both consumer products and entertainment industries.
From 1995-2005, he was a sales and marketing executive at Warner Bros. As Vice President of Sales for Warner Home Video, he was responsible for $2.8 billion in DVD sales and managed all functions in the supply chain for both big box and independent retailers, including Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Target, Kmart, Sears and Best Buy. His functional responsibilities included sales, customer service, vendor-managed inventory, forecasting, sales logistics, direct-store-delivery, in-store merchandising, category management and business reporting. As Senior Vice President of Retail Business Development for Warner Bros. Consumer Products he was responsible for retail planning, retail marketing and business development for licensed product generating over $1 billion in sales across all categories at major retailers. Prior to joining Warner Bros., he spent 10 years as a sales and marketing executive in the consumer package goods industry with Procter & Gamble, Pillsbury and Johnson & Johnson. He started Connor Consulting LLC in 2005 and his clients included Genius Entertainment, Liberation Entertainment and Hip Hop Kidz Entertainment.
Patrick received an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University.
